this number calls me ever half hour exactly.Today i told them i wasent home and i would leave a message if they told me what they wanted.He said he was offering out free government money I told he we wouldnt be intrested but i would leave a message and he is still calling every half hour. its rediculous i have to turn my ringer off and check the caller id to see if anyone important called me.
They are calling rapid-fire and playing games with their auto-dialer. I get a single ring - stop, single ring - stop. This happens 4-5 times and then I get an actual call from them. They claim you "accepted a advertiser contact offer on the Internet." B.S. This has crossed the line from annoying to harassment. These scumbags need to be shut down.
I 2 have been messed with by three different 201 numbers. The first i could tell was a prank, it would hang up if i answered and if i called back an automated service came on and sounded deranged and creepy, like the movie "SAW". I found a website and registered it, and that was the end of that after 3 straight days 4-5 calls a day. Then another number called with 201 and i answered on the second ring. The dude just kept saying "hello". I found another site ans registered that number, but now its this number coming all the way from New Jersey, and its called at least 4 times already. Now somebody should be able to do something about these people, don't they have lives or they just like messing up others.
This 201-282-5012 number calls my home 8 - 10 times a day. Here it is saturday morning at 7:30am and they have started. How do you block these numbers? I work (thank GOD) hard all week, and try to restsome on Saturday morning, and get this crap! I thought they the government stopped unwanted telemarketing?
they call me daily, there is silence on the line then it hangs up, this is very annoying and I should not have to tolerate this, the FCC should take action against this sort of behavior since I am sure the people call are in violation of some law. This is harrasment plain and simple and for no apparent reason except to annoy. It also causes you to monitor your calls in case you miss a call that may be important, I do not have the time for this nor should I have to monitor my phone to see who is calling.
