I found this on another site. Sure sounds like our problem. After reading this I went to the "do not call" web site and registered my cell phone which they are calling. I have to wait 31 days to file a complaint. I will be filing a complaint!!
"I did not participate in this program. I considered it because Google is such a well known name. I did a search on it and found many bad reports. I decided to not do it(duh). I have tried numerous times to call the number I was given to reach them to no avail. You get a recording that tells you they'll connect with a representative. The recording comes back about ten seconds later to tell you noone is available.....every time. It tells you to pick another option. If you don't, it hangs up on you. These people are calling my number every day. Yesterday, there were 10 calls from them! The day before was 8. I put my name on their DNC list and they are still calling. I spoke with a rep when he called me and asked to speak with a manager or supervisor. Amazingly, there were none of either available. Hmmm, interesting. I told the guy to stop calling and take my name off of their list. He played dumb for awhile, then finally said ok. We shall see. If this is how they handle calling people, how do they handle other business??!?? "
Not sure who this is. The call, let the phone ring once then hang up every 15 - 20 mins. The number appears under two different CALLER ID names... GCS or NEW JERSEY (SAME NUMBER). Caller maybe spoofing their calls, there is software out there to do this.
