I received a call from this number at my office. As soon as I picked up and gave our company greeting, they hung up. I guess they realized it was a business and didn't want to bother with it.
Received a call from 201-283-9567 on my mobile phone on 7/28/2015 at 12:15pm. No caller ID displayed. Did not answer and the following automated voicemail message was left.
"...reference to your current credit card account. There's no problems currently with your accounts it is urgent however that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as little as 6.9%. Your eligibility expires shortly, so please consider this your final notice. Please press 1 now on your phone to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates or press 2 to discontinue further notices. Thank you and have a great day."
Apparently, this is another number being used by the "Card Services" scam. I have added the number to my Google Voice block list.
WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!
We have an unpublished number and these people got a hold of it somehow I am paying for the unpublished number so please find out who this is and stop them from calling.
