I'm a long time Verizon customer and I keep getting calls fron this 201-283-9617 about predatory lending on credit card lenders. Get them to STOP or next time my cell services will be with someone else.
No one here can get them to stop calling. You have to report them yourself to the FTC. This is merely a forum for people who receive unknown/spam/scam calls.
I called the 201-283-9617 number on behalf of my daughter - who has NO credit card and has only had a small amount of student loans -and a "Steve" identified that he is from "United Legal Group" based out of California, but they are "throughout the United States". I told him I wanted my daughter's number placed on the National Do Not Call list, and he said he would do so. He said"Okay friend" (!) and hung up. We'll see...
