I have been getting so many calls, day after day, multiple times per day, mostly recordings, from those claiming to be addiction specialists or some such thing. Here is the tally so far (those in parenthesis are callers specifically mentioning substance abuse):

I have been on the National Do Not Call list for some time now, of course that does not mean much for the morally deficient. Nevertheless, I have been logging the calls and reporting the callers. I do not know how many are spoofed phone numbers and caller IDs, but I will just let the Federal Trade Commission deal with it, assuming it does any good.

Called around 12:30.  Answering machine picked up.  They hung up.  I blocked.

This number called my cell phone this afternoon and just called my house phone. They will be blocked.

Robocall that tied up the line with only noise sounding like boiler room operation
