Well I thought I had this outfit blocked already so they must be using a new phone # as I answered by mistake yesterday seeing the 201 area code....have friends with a 201 so picked up and heard recording about credit so hung up right away.
Well, they're back. Haven't heard from these people in months. This is the old credit card debt scam although this sounded like a computer generated voice rather than our old friend Rachel from Card Holder Services. They said that they could help with my credit card debt but I had to have at least $3000 in credit card debt. I just left the phone off the hook for awhile just in case they don't automatically disconnect if I don't press 1 to talk to a real (?) person. I'm hoping that this call was just a fluke as it's been really quiet for over a week.
Just called, my "nonorobo" hung up on them after 1 ring so it must have been a recorded message.
If it's a live person, I answer & yell "are you the one that killed uncle Freddy, did you kill uncle Freddy?"
Usually they hang up & take me off the list.
Poor uncle Freddy, he's been good to me!
