Got a letter from 'VECTOR' - for summer job openings. The envelope had NO return address and the letter didn't either. Right away - SCAM ALERT!
I called anyway and the person who answered was NOT the person who signed the letter.
Apparently it is a SCAM to hustle people into buying Knives and other junk - then having to go door to door selling what you bought! OMG!
SCAM ALERT! DON'T BE FOOLED INTO CALLING THIS NUMBER!!
It's a fake "job" to take your $$$$.
Wow! I just looked up the same number because I got the same letter! Hahahaha!
201 291-1644 is registered to someone named Coscetta M in Paramus NJ. The letter is signed by CHARLES URRUTIA. The zip code the letter was mailed from is 47150 which is New Albany, Indiana!
So obviously, this is a scam.
I thought something was up when there was no address listed anywhere either.
Hopefully no one will get duped into this.
I'm going to file a complaint with the FCC. I suggest you do to.
Here is the link: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
They use a direct mailing company which is located in Indiana. Most Bergen County high schools opt. in a direct mailing service which most of your parents accepted. Its usually one of those letters you never read and have your parents sign. The number says M Concetta because he was the old manager of the office before Charles took over. Charles also hires receptionist to take calls from applicants which every company does. You should probably ask instead of assume. The job wasn't for me either but that doesn't make it illegitimate. So check the website or come in for an interview before you judge anything VECTORMARKETING.COM
It's funny, I used to work for vector marketing. It's a pyramid scheme. Really nice cutlery, I can't deny that...but the sales techniques are invasive and rigorous on new recruits. I actually know Charlie Urrutia, and he is real. I worked side by side with him. The letters came from corporate in mid state ny. The job sucks. Never do it.
