called to offer vacation to Florida. think it's automated voice as I asked them to stop speaking then yelled at the female, I was ignored. so think it's kind of like Siri for telemarketers, sounds human but only responds to certain statements...
It was that [***] who's like ' oh hello, just need to adjust my headset". i swear to god, who ever is behind this scam needs to jump off a cliff. The local police has even made a statement not to say yes at all.
I have gotten the same call from "Emily" several times. After I say hello...a couple of seconds go by and I hear "Oh! I'm sorry. (Giggle) I had a problem with my headset!" Then "Emily" launches on saying the reason she is calling me is because I stayed at one of their resorts....And then I know it's pure baloney. I have not stayed anywhere. And Emily just talks over me...so I am pretty sure its a recording...says the same thing every single call. So I hang up.
Caller ID showed Cushman &Wakefield. Friend of mine works there so I answered. Cheery female robot started blabbing about how I stayed in one of their resorts and wanted to know if I could hear her. Hung up and blocked number. Not my friend's office number or even exchange.
