I started receiving calls from this number to my cell phone on 4/13, when I ansewered the call and there was a women speaking a language other than English. I hung up and the calls kept coming. I didn't answer any more calls but noticed that who ever it was wasn't leaving a voice mail yet kept calling back. I tried to call the number back from my cell and after two seconds the call gets dropped. I then tried to call the number from my land line and the call is unable to go through. The calls have been showing up each day and a few at a time. Make it stop.
I started getting calls this afternoon from 201-297-5275. The calls come every 25 to 30 minutes and when I answer the phone, there is no one there. I tried calling the number back, but all I get is a voicemail that is full. It's very frustrating because they are calling my cell phone, which I use for business. I did a reverse search on the number and found out it was coming from a landline that is provided by XO Communications. The phone number is registered in Closter, NJ and I even traced the building to be on the corner of Piermont Rd and Orchard. Address, 576 Piermont Rd, Demarest, NJ, United States.
Started getting calls today about noon and then every half hour. Usually hangs up but last time there was noise and music in background on answering machine. Did reverse lookup and calls coming from Closter, NJ (landline). My number is on do not call list. Don't understand. Very annoying. Needs to be reported to FTC.
I have been getting these calls on my _cell phone_ for about a week now. I let it go to my voice mail if I don't know the number. Once or twice, they held on long enough to leave a message, but all they were saying was "hello, Mr. <my name>". They did know my name some how. I called them back and got a recording saying "welcome to customer service" (no company name!). However, the recording did say to press 2 in order to be put onto their do-no-call list. So, I did that. I don't know yet if that will actually do the trick or not.
Keep getting a call from this number. I answered the call last week and they asked for me and I said that I didn't know of anyone by that name (hate the harrassing phone calls). Anyway, my number is also on the National Do Not Call list. They never leave messages and they called at like 10:30pm last night. GRRRRRR.... You best believe I am reporting these people.
