I am on the Federal Do Not Call list. It became necessary several months back because of harassing telemarketing calls. For some reason, I continue to get calls from people claiming I filled out a form requesting information about colleges, which is a flat out lie. The guy on the phone today was not even ruffled when I told him I was on the DNC list. He just continued on like it wasn't a big deal. It's not that he didn't hear me, I repeated myself several times for his benefit, he just didn't care.
Don't give these people any information. This cannot be a legally run business.
