I got a phone call from 231-674-4222 and said the same exact things about the "sweepstakes". They called me about 4 times a day for the last 3 weeks. I finally answered and they said I was "entered into Dream of a Lifetime Sweepstakes." Scary thought that they knew my name... Anyway, she was rambling off about some magazines and some stupid bullcrap and I just was like, "oook." She ("roxy") "transfered" me over to her "supervisor". I asked if this is legit, he said yes. They have been located in Clearwater, Florida for some ODD years. I asked him then why did he have a Michigan telephone number, kind of stumbled and gave me this number: 201-308-5379, said if I had second thoughts I could call that number. So I googled it, found this. Sort of messed with them for about 7 minutes asking why they didn't have a website and such. Said that it only happens some odd years and they don't promote it because its "so special". I just kind of laughed and hung up on them.

Wouldn't really say what company they were, just Sweepstakes some-thing-or-other,but is listed as Level 3 Communications VoIP in Troy, MI when i looked them up.It's their big 22nd Aniversary Promotion. I hadn't resently bought any products from companies that they listed, nor have i entered any boggus sweepstakes. They called only minutes ago, looked up both numbers, and they tried calling again from a different local number, but then it only beeped when i answered, i was going to tell them to stop calling me. The magazine part could be legit, but you should NEVER give you credit card/bank card numbers over the phone to any random caller. If you are going to pay bills or order something, then only do it if you initiated the call. I hope the previous commenters that did do this don't get screwed. They should contact their bank and put a stop payment on it and alert their banks fraud department.
I just got three calls in a row from this number. I answered the last call and a girl named Tammy was the one I talked to. She was very polite and personable. She told me I was entered to win their sweepstakes. 25,000 a paid vacation or a 2013 ford something.. She also told me they were sending me a 250$ giftcard in the mail with a magazine subscription.. I thought, sweet! She was really funny and kept making jokes, asking me how the weather was and how I like living in Alaska. She never mentioned any credit card numbers. I asked how the billing would go and she told me to ask her supervisor. I was like okay... He got on the phone and was nice. Until I told him I couldn't find my debit card.. He told me I couldn't receive any of the offers unless i give him my card info. I told him I don't know where my card is at the moment. He accused me of lying and being scared of fraud.. I then realized this company is a crock of S**T!
