My call was not spam. It was from the company who handles home deliveries for Sleep Number in the southeast US. I called Sleep Number themselves to verify, and they confirmed that they were legitimate.
This is a new one for us. Called just a few minutes ago and I checked the caller I.D. It said: SN HD and then the number 201-337-7600. Never saw that one before today. We don't answer anything we don't recognize. We have a generic outgoing message that says no one is available to take your call, etc. They always hang up when that plays. Wish we could stop the nuisance calls. Our phone provider doesn't have call blocking. I'd gladly pay for it.
Okay. Another first. This one did leave a message. Turned out to be regarding an order and they were calling to set up a delivery date. Did not recognize the number of letters. But it's a legitimate business. Sorry for the false alarm!! We were not expecting a call this soon and didn't know who would be calling. Thank goodness it was a real call for a change.
They keep calling with a robo dialer and then a voice message with prompts to respond to an upcoming appointment. Prompts to keep appt (that we don't have), cancel change or speak to someone - when you click speak to someone (to get them to stop calling - we don't have an appointment) - it just goes now where but they keep calling back.
