Received this call at work...have answered in the past but they always hung up. This time a female with a heavy Indian accent asked for me by ~almost my name then followed with "As an IT professional you're entitled to xxxxx free xxxx seminars xxxxxx the next is at xxxxx and lasts 16 minutes xxxxxx"
The xxxxx approximates words I couldn't understand. I told her I wasn't interested and she thanked me and hung up.
At least two calls from these folks asking first for "IT person who makes decisions", etc. Told them that unless they know their name, the call is not accepted. They called today with the name of one of the people here, but, knowing they were telemarketers, I put them on hold to research the number. They eventually hung up. Caller ID says Dumont, NJ, but sounds distinctly overseas like India.
