I believe this is an auto call to verify emergency contact info for a UBS employee. UBS just has the wrong number on file. If it continues you should be able to call any UBS office and they will be able to contact HR and remove the number from there data base.
Let me clarify that..when you have a broker who does not calls you back..and avoids you...just like the ads say...get rid of that broker immediately...I found out the hard way...and even though they won (got and clean out everything with commissions)....they didn't win in the court of public opinion..there are things call networks of people..and word travels fast...and is going to travel fast!
I received consecutive calls from this number at 11:20am November 26, 2014 on my Home number and Cell phone number. Getting calls like these on my cell phone number is very unusual. I call the number back and I reached a switch board. The operator said that he could not tell me who call but I reach UBS Financial Services. I asked what did the letters UBS stands for and he said that it stood for nothing that it was just letters. I was not pleased that I received calls on my home phone and my cell phone from whomever these people. I don't mind receiving calls from solicitors but these calls seem to come at unusual times and harassing manner.
Called my office phone today. I answered. No one one the line. I called back & recording said was UBS Financial Services. I I "Googled" and found the following:
