I answered this number today, finally, after getting so many calls per day. When I answered it said, "Hello, this is Katherine." I said to my husband, "oh, it's a computer. " (it sounded like one) then the person/computer, said "oh I sound that bad today?!" Then started laughing forever and I hung up.
I made the mistake years ago of using PayDay Loans to help in a time of significant financial need. Worst mistake of my life. That's when all of this nonsense started. This number is one of literally 50 or more that contact me continuously. Once you apply for a PayDay Loan, ALL of the information you provided is shared with the world. I am now a victim of identity fraud, have had tax filings under my social security number, and am constantly harassed via telephone and e-mail from " Phishing " Scams trying to defraud me of money. ( telling me anything from I need to contact them to they are sending the sheriff to get me ) It all started with PayDay Loans. I share this so anyone who reads it can learn from my mistakes. Steer clear of short-term lenders... file bankruptcy if need be but do not use these. They are tied to scams all over the world.
