They called numerous times was very rude to the members in my household would not say where they were calling or leave a call back number. Funny when you google the number it is to a lawyer in NJ.
Called my moms house (staying there for holidays) and did not leave voicemail. this was within a minute or so of Macy's collections dept calling, in what seemed to be a fake fraudulent attempt to get acct info, but in fact turned out to be the collections dept harassing mom for no reason- payment was cashed by bank.
they called again and this time I answered, and he claimed the company was called "Princess Purchasing", and when I asked how he got my number he first said "its in the system" and after that when I pressed he said "We get it from the credit bureau" I asked why he was calling and this is approx what he said "I am calling about your visa mastercard account; there is not a problem, but since the governmnet has lowered interest rates your are now eligible for.." At this point i lost my willpower and told the guy off, and even said "you should get another job. I know you didn't mastermind this so.." and he hung up. I do wish I got more info, but it would have been fake anyhow. I just reported this to the FTC, which you can to online. STAY AWAY!
