Called me five times yesterday, three so far today. Answered one of them yesterday, girl with a slight foreign accent tells me she's with some Federal something Services, and is mailing the free grant information and applications after I give her my credit/debit card number to pay $1.97 S/H. I told her I don't have credit or debit; she says get a friend to pay it for me. Got another call after that with another girl who started the same pitch and seemed surprised when I told her I already talked to someone.
I've gotten 7 calls from this number today. It appears this is some kinda scam to get you credit or debit card info. and they have a way to check right then to see if the card is legit as I made up a number. The young lady advised me the card was invalid. Must think I'm a dam fool to give that info over the phone to someone not knowing who they are and what they do.
