Received a call from this number and it only rang twice but I won't call it back. I've heard about scams that do this, ring only twice so that people call back out of curiosity and then get charged for making that call.
Man..the same thing happened to me.Im not paranoid. when someone is out to steal from you and you notify the FTC that they offered me some lame gifts but insisted the S&H be paid by credit card really happened thats not paranoia..its real. These chumps seriously wanted my C.C. number!! Incredibly brazen thieves. Maybe my FTC complaint will help shut them down but they will probably pop back up with something else. In my experience, once a crook always a crook(with some exceptions)
Don't count on the FTC. Did a report on a credit bureau that kept calling looking for someone else. They submitted my claim to the company. The company said they didn't have any record of them calling. NO FURTHER ACTION !
Got a call from the same place but be careful with recording, you could face wire tapping charges. Laws on recording vary from state to state. In some states only one party needs to know that the call is being recorded. If that's the case, you're safe. In others, both parties must be made aware or you could face some serious charges. Don't get yourself in trouble to stop these worthless people!
Just received a call- rang three times and i couldnt answer quickly enough. I called abck and it had the welcom! you have been selected by one of our affliates to receive a $100 gift car to great stores such as walmart and best buy. press one for the gift card, press 2 to be put on our do not call lsit. i pressed 2- now im scared.
