Received a call from this number and it only rang twice but I won't call it back. I've heard about scams that do this, ring only twice so that people call back out of curiosity and then get charged for making that call.
This is called "phishing", and it's a scam. Never, ever, give *any* information about yourself to someone who has called *you* unless you *know* who they are. Even they give you a name and you recognize it and you do or have done business with that organization, you should ask if you can call back, and then you should only use an official number to call them, not the number they give you. For example, if you get a call from someone claiming to be from the security department at ABC Bank, and you *have* a credit card from ABC Bank, tell them you'll call back at the number *on your credit card*. If they argue with you, then it's a fraud and you should hang up right away. They may be calling hundreds of people whether or not they have a card from ABC Bank, and are depending on people who *do* have an ABC card to assume that the call is legitimate.
I always decline unknown calls. I used this reverse search and see that 201-366-2206 has history of calling people. I would definitely caution people NOT to phone back as it may be the caller's way to identify /validate active phone numbers to sell to spammers and tele-marketers. this is definitely a suspicious number that I will add to my cellphone's number call blocking.
