The DNC list has three exemptions, and charitable causes (including fundraising) is allowed, so thats the reason were able to contact you. If you dont want calls, answer and tell them to delist you. Were forced to at that point to code you as a DL(delist) and from personal experience its easier that way.
I know you hate the calls, and trust me, i know i hate them too. SO just answer and say can you delist me, and then wait for them to answer with the delist policy rebuttal and they will let you go. Otherwise expect a call again.
I saw the call come in yesterday with "Dial America" on the ID so I didn't answer, but did look them up on Google. They are indeed a telemarketing company, and since I'm on the Do Not Call list, I went back there (www.donotcall.gov) and filed a complaint. They called back just now, and when I answered, I only got a recording saying they were a telemarketing company (duh!) and would try to call back at a later time. I just went back to the Do Not Call website and filed another complaint. PLEASE, when you get these calls, COMPLAIN where it will do the most good! If they receive enough complaints on the Do Not Call site, they will take action and fine these companies!!
Calls almost daily. Don't recognize the number so I don't answer. Google to find out. They've called numerous times. On this page is says they're called Dial America and they sell magazines. How can I report them to the
do not call?
