I receive 'daily' calls from Dial America. I have verbally requested they remove my number from their list to no avail. Now the calls come in via an automated system telling me they will call back---and sure enough, they do.
I checked other complaints on Google and they are numerous. How can these people be stopped?
This number called at least once a day for two weeks. I answered and it was a telemarketer wanting me to renew a magazine that I was getting. I told her that I had renewed it a month ago and they needed to take me off their calling list. She said she would. A couple days later I received the same call again, different woman. I told her the same thing, take me off your call list! I told her if I received one more call I was going to file a complaint against them, as this number is on the Do Not Call registry.
I discovered that TheWeek magazine has been selling our private information to Telemarketers. When I called and asked TheWeek magazine about this they said all magazines do this.
