Typo all over my last post!!! Haha. Vonage has the ability to block numbers, even private callers. I'm sure other phone companies carry similar tools/options.
Got a phone call from 201-399-2106 while at work... It is a Daily News represenative looking to sell you a subscription to their paper. I dont know if they are third party or direct but I just told them I was not interested.
I don't know anyone with a 201 area code so I don't answer and they don't leave a message. They are calling my cell phone and it interrupts my work (I have to keep ring on in case of child emergency). VERY ANNOYING!!!
Just got a call from this number but I recognize it as a number that has called before on many occasions. This is one of many other numbers (all different area codes) that calls ur home several times per day! There really needs to be a govt crack down on these calls. They disturb our peace in our own homes! It's gotten absolutely outrageous now and we're totally sick of it! We now keep our answering machine on 24/7/365 and our friends and family have been informed to start speaking on the machine or we aren't picking up when we're home. Not going to waste our time with any of these ANNOYING telemarketers.
