I don't know why you don't want your company name to be displayed on CID except that you think that people might not want to talk to you. If people don't want to talk to you, there is probably a good reason. So then, when you start a cold call with: Hi-how are you?, like all cold calling salespeople who want you to think you're long lost friends, it makes people want to talk to you even less. So that's New City Logistics who has called a few times in the past week now and been transferred to the appropriate individual's voicemail who makes decisions about shipping. Either NCL has not left a voicemail, in which case they are not getting a return call, or they have left a voicemail and are not getting a return call and in either scenario, they've annoyed me. We're not friends. We don't want to be friends. If you won't leave a message for a decision maker or have and the decision maker has not called you back, there is no need for your continual calls. Stop calling.

And they continue to call a couple times daily/every other day, either not leaving a voicemail for the individual they need to speak with or taking a lack of a return call as interest somehow. When I can catch their number on the CID, I've just started hanging up on them. They've crossed the line to harassment-legitimate business or not.
Again - the second I lifted the receiver today, I could hear the idiot talking loudly to his neighbor. He didn't even notice that his call had stopped ringing. I put the received down on the desk until he figured it out, stopped talking to his neighbor, stopped saying hello and hung-up about forty seconds later.
