I answered the telephone, said Hello, there was a pause and an electronic voice said "Goodbye" and the line hung up. NOT FUNNY ! Did they fall over dead wherever this call came from ? The caller ID said NEW JERSEY . Are they "Actors" like the Jersey Police call perps on TV ? Maybe the Jersey Police should go over there and do a well people check just in case something happened to them at that very moment (12:48 central time )(11/23) . EH ? If not then shackle them.
"New Jersey" on the caller ID. This number looks like it's related to 201-402-2805, both of which have called many times in the last few days.
No doubt these numbers are part of a bank of spoofed numbers purchased by the scammers from the phone companies.
Woman on the line claimed to be calling from Southwest Airlines and said that I won a prize of two free round trip tickets. I highly doubted that so I interrupted and said, "NO!, NO!, NO!" and then hung up.
