Call from my dad in New York showed this New Jersey phone number. When calling it back it says that Verizon cannot dial it. Would appreciate knowing what the scammers could be after. Had my phone hacked last year by scammers spoofing and pretending to be Verizon. What is this?
Received the call and caller I.D. said AMS VOICECOM. They told me my computer has a virus. I told them to hold while I got to my computer. I kept them on hold for five minutes and they finally hung up. I plan on blocking the number now.
