Got me again! I called the Worthless complaint center. I now have to let the phone ring two times then if it is him hangup and hit hit *57 and then call the center again. The caller ID number is not usable in court. still the same number 201-403-9978 tone of voice is more human.
Got me again today too. I reported it again, but it does seem to be useless reporting them as I have reported this at least four times and it is still continuing.
You mean you hit Star 57 and then reported them and nothing? Sounds to me like they are in bed with the morons. They sell you callerID but the system
can be beat very easily. Star 57 costs $1 That made me laugh! So you spend several dollars and nothing?
I am back to thinking the machine just logs what time people are home and who answers their phone. I got that call center from Nigeria looking to help me lower my credit card rates again today while hoping to log the other knucklehead. In between someone wanted to show my house.
I get the same call all the time. Usually it says "Im glad we had the time to talk. Thanks for answering. I'll call again." It freaked me out!! It was like something out of the movie WARGAMES!!! Anyway, I live in NA as well. I also happen to work for the phone co. Im gonna ask my boss tomorrow. Let you guys know whats up.
