I was suckered in by this company (Central Department American Pharmacy) when I rec'd a phone call from "Michael" with a thick Indian accent. They were selling cheap prescriptions and at first I declined. They offered five extra pills at no cost, free shipping and $25 off the quoted price. Like a fool I fell for it. It's been 7 weeks since the money was taken from my checking account and still no mdse. Repeated calls go unanswered or I'm put on hold and no one ever picks up again. The callers are from India, the "company" is located in Hong Kong and they claim the mdse is mailed from the UK. Ironically Michael called me two days after I placed the order and Identified himself as John. A week later the SAME person was Steve.
I'm now changing my checking account as they have my information and I don't trust what they will do. If you get a call from ANYONE selling you pharm'ls HANG UP!
From caller ID I recognized the area code (201) to be from somewhere near Bayonne NJ because my son used to live there. I currently have no dealings with anyone or anyplace there. An Asian-sounding female asked for me by my first name. I was suspicious, so I said, "she isn't here". Within 60 seconds that same person called back and asked for me by my first and my current last name -- I've been re-married only about a year and not many businesses that I have dealt with in the past do not yet have my new name. Curious.
These people call our home number sometimes three to four times a day. I have asked them nicely and told them in anger not to call this number anymore, but they continue to call again and again. I wish I knew of some way to keep them from calling again. If anyone can give me a solution I would gladly take it.
It's American Pharmacy - if you are receiving calls from them it's because you bought drugs online from them or one of their affiliates. They do not cold call. But they are pushy once they know you have purchased drugs online before..
