This phone number is being used in an attempted secret shopper fraud scheme. The owner is soliciting employment as a secret shopper - sending a large check via USPS priority mail and then asking me to deposit the check and quickly send a portion to Noraima Hernandez in Puerto Rico via Money Gram. They got to me by hacking an associate's LinkedIn account, so I thought it was a legitimate opportunity - until I saw what I was sent.
It is unfortunate that you were scammed.
If you still have the check (and the envelope in which it came), bring them to your local postmaster ... s/he will pursue "using the mails to defraud" case.
