I regularly receive calls from 201-430-2018, which I never answer. They do not leave a message. The caller ID says the call comes from Weehawken, NJ. It shouldn't be a bill collector, since I owe nothing to no one.
These people make calls demanding money by stating they are with the federal government. This should be a crime and should be looked into by the government as fraudulent.
Have no idea who these people are..Again, when I called the number back and asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told I had no basis to speak to one, even though I have received several calls from this number. VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL FOLKS!!!
I gotta share this. This number called my cell - I don't answer unknown out-of-area numbers. They left me a message. It was an Indian/whatever dude with a very heavy accent - he said his name was Officer Johnson, I'm not making this up. He then left a largely unintelligible message that all culminated in him telling me - obviously reading from a script judging from his stilted, painful delivery - that he was my only hope before officials showed up at my door. Amazing. [No, I don't have any debts delinquent, nor criminal problems]
