They called my work place (an IT consulting firm). It's protocol to mention my name, my company name, and, "How can I help you?"
Silence... Then *click*.
I do not have an idea which company called, but it's painfully obvious it's a telemarketer with a person listening on the other end; and that person starts the automated message when he/she thinks the recipient is a potential customer. They're non-discriminating to whom they're dialing, and I'll be happy to get more information next time I receive their call.
Jerkwads illegally and repeatedly calling cell phones to waste your time and steal minutes on people's phone that choose not to pay out the @$$ for unlimited minutes (so they don't have to be stuck on the phone talking to idiots).
These are nothing but a bunch of low life SCUMBAGS!
They call numbers like mine that are on the national DO NOT CALL list
And don't have the decency to pickup when you answer the phone, nothing but a bunch of low life bottom feeders.
