recently moved out of state.have unlisted landline but cable co has my #. i answered call and was told they could lower my electric bill if i answered a few questions..told them elec is included in my rent and please don't call again. i receive calls everyday..i don't answer & no msg left. i'm so tired of companies selling my info to 3rd parties.
We just boot a call from this number. The person said that according to their records we have been overpaying on our gas and electric and that we are owed money. They said that we should have gotten a paper in our last few bills. When I said that we receive our bills electronically he then hung up on me. I am guessing this was some sort of scam.
Same experience here, a person called asking for a fictional name and then wanting to speak to the person in charge of the "electric bill." Got the same spiel and hung up on him.
