Have been receiving calls from this number for a few days, it only seems to be on hold when i pick up, and then there is a few seconds of silence and a woman's voice says goodbye. No one has even come on the phone- I don't know what kind of call this is or why I am receiving it...
I just dialed the number back, and it was also a recorded message saying it "if i was calling in response to the number showing up on my caller id, it was to confirm an order i had placed and that no action was required on my part. I haven't ordered anything and I do not believe anyone else in my home had ordered anything as well. Is this some kind of scam?
Yes This is a scam!!! Check your bank account because Someone called from this number last night to "Confirm" a order placed and I told him I never placed a order and he said ok thats fine and then today my account was charged!!! Some one is hacking credit card numbers online. and using them to get samples from this company before they nail you for the big bucks!! Be warned.
