My grandparents got a call from this number last night, it was an automated system and it told them I was dead and asked them to push different numbers for different things, of course this freaked them out and they called immediately to make sure I was ok. We called the number and it transfers to Allied, which is a collection agency, but they insist it wasn't their number and they wouldnt make a call like that. We finally got the guy on the other end to call that number and he found out that hey it did go to him, imagine that (how else would we have been able to get a hold of him duh!) Anyway, they are "looking into it". What bothers me is, (well besides from them telling my grandmother I was dead) is the fact that one, it used my nickname and maiden name, which none of my bills are in not even when I was single did I use my nickname and the fact that two they called my grandparents a number and address that no one with my name has ever lived out. At one point in time there were 4 people with my name living in a 2 mile radius, but none at their address - they are ruthless if they have stooped this low.
They are looking for a Tim. Tim does not live here and has no connection to any of my telephone numbers. This organization appears to be run by punks. They couldn't get a job if they had to. They've been calling for months. They don't like nice, they don't like avoidance. These guys are [***] holes. They probably don't have anything you can sue for. They are sick people. Someone needs to post their address and we need to visit them. THEY ARE PUNKS!!!
Allied has been calling me via an 800# until today when they started with this 201#. I never answer. I know they are after me for a debt that is very very old. They typically call 2x day. WIth the 800 # they leave a computer generated message requesting I call them etc.
