This number has called every day for past couple of weeks. Never leave a message. Have blocked the number, so will see if that works to eliminate this extremely annoying, repetitive caller.
Third party blocking service seems to already be set to intercept calls from this number on May 23, 2016.
We got a call from this number with CID name "Jersey City NJ" during the afternoon of May 23, 2016. It rang only once and did not call back. Our third party blocking service (rhymes with SlowNoHobo) intercepts calls with caller ID numbers on their blacklist after one ring, so we assume they've already blacklisted this number.
I usually come here to 800notes to check on numbers the blocking service nixed, in case there's a mistake. I'm posting about my recent call in case it helps others to know this CID number is already on the service's blacklist.
Received 1 call so far, no message left. Disconnected during the voicemail greeting so maybe it was not automated? Don't know if auto-dialers can sense if a voicemail answers. Maybe they can based on a several second long greeting, rather than 'Hello'. Eitther way, based on helpful information here will add it to the phone system's Blacklist.
Called our home phone (which is registered with DNC list). I picked up but did not say anything for 5-10 seconds - then said hello. Immediately disconnected.
