I got the same "Test Message" on my cell phone that came through 10 minutes after I posted an ad on Craigslist. I'm sure that's where scammers are getting their phone numbers from. Text message said "Customer issue, credit union west service frozen please call 201 484 8652.

Did reverse phone lookup and received:
This LANDLINE number is issued by BROADWING COMMUNICATIONS, LLC .
General location: JERSEYCITY/JERSEY CITY, NJ area.
If this was a legitimate Credit Union, a reverse lookup would return the actual business it was issued to. This is the second time I received this same message. It's a SCAM.
I'm contacting BROADWING COMMUNICATIONS, LLC to report it as a scam.
Same here, got mine at 3:27 Mountain Time. I figured it was a scam so I thought I'd check. Hope nobody falls for this. Jersey City, huh? That makes sense...
