Wow...I got almost the EXACT same wording (with a different email address to respond to) for a CL ad I posted for a laptop for sale. I agree...if they give out too much irrelevant information (why do I need to know you're pregnant?), it's a scam.

Glad I googled this guys email name.  Here's his reply to my CL ad
Will be in town in the next 2hrs to get groceries for my son and able to be  see it and maybe pick up with cash if we can agree on a good price and you have open schedule to see meet me. I am ready to make instant purchase with my mode of payment would being a Certified Bank Check via Postal service Express mail or UPS overnight delivery.

I'll arrange for a local pick up as soon as you receive check, cashed it and have your money in hand, I promise you everything will go smoothly as I would like to have it before the my wedding anniversary which comes in 2 weeks.

Yeah I got that email just now I knew something was wrong with this

Attempted to scam me via craigslist. Emails were all fishy. Came from separate accounts. Not willing to call.
