You are correct it is a scam, most likely originating in a foreign country. No legitimate US lender is going to cold call you offering a loan. They want your bank info to drain your accounts. You can report the call to the FTC and Consumer Finance Protection Bureau even if you do not know the name of the lender to get this number on record with them.
Just curious what business this is as they were giving a loan for $1000 and wanted to wire it to my bank. I sure it is a scam so would like to report it.
