I've been getting calls from this number on a daily basis for a couple weeks now. Messages are left but nobody leaves a message, just hangs up before answering machine can pick up. Number on caller ID will say +1 in front of it also. Or the phone number will be all space apart like +1200 50 011 87 but similarly the same number every day and caller ID said it's from New Jersey. And it's a harassment call. But I can't seem to find them or whoever it is online. Better knock this [***] off before I get the cops involved.
I believe this is a targeted campaign to sell my phone number... if you pick up, the line hangs up but confirms someone owns the number. Then the number gets sold to companies who will then try and weasel money out of you. DO NOT PICK UP. I did today... Now I'll probably get countless calls from all kinds of marketing schemes.
This number is from New Jersey and even with it being blocked I still receive incoming calls. So far I have received 22 incoming calls that have been blocked. It rings once, no message left. Why are they able to call if I have them blocked. The county is Bergen County in Jersey City, NJ.
In one and one half hours i received 12 calls from this number. I never answered and no messages were left. Why do we have the do nit call list if they can call anyways. This is just ridiculous!
