This number calls our place of business 2 times per day, every day. We called it back and asked to be removed from their call list stating that it is annoying. Let's see if it works. We'll keep you posted.
My father took the call from 201-520-9295. They were asking for me. He won't give out my private cell number. He said the company is called Allsec. If you Google it, it is an Indian call service center with 2 American locations, New Jersey and Georgia. They probably got info from a broker who sells names,addresses, phone numbers, etc. Just think of them as a "direct marketer" for some product or service.
I have been getting calls at all hours of the day from this number starting this week. When I answer, there is no one on the other line, and if I let it ring through to my answering machine, they don't leave a message. I work from home full-time, and this is really getting annoying. My caller ID says ALLSEC. I have never heard of that. I am on the do not call list and have been for years. I have no idea how they got my number.
