But, just because I can call out from work on a number that can't be called back (huge place, and ton out outgoing lines, but at no point does your actual extension show up---can be helpful) I do it regularly, just to see if it's a spoofed number or the really dumb scammer calling on an actual line. Well, it was the usual dumb scammer,,, but the guy's English was so bad, it took me two rounds of "who is this?" until could understand he was trying to say Internal Revenue Service. I laughed so hard I dropped the phone and when I finally picked it back up I told him "I knew you were a scammer, but you are without a doubt the worst one I've come across" and hung up on him. Sheesh.
