this number called me, didnt leave a mess. called it back and it was a company i've never heard of inviting me a free trip i won? i have no idea where they got my mumber but it see,s like a BIG SCAM. watch out!!!
Just got a call from this number, 207-579-8886. Woman who spoke broken English saying I won a free tablet, yada yada yada. I say, "not interested." And she asks, "WHY?" I say, "Im not into gimmicks!" And she hung up quickly.
They called me five times today....I decided to let them see how it feels...called them 6 times in a row and let them answer..."hello hello can I help you??"
What a pain these people are!! I decided to call three more times for the heck of it!! That's what I am going to do in the future with annoying calls....they bother me and waste my time so why not give it back.
This number shows up on caller ID as "rapidvox." In horribly broken English, a lady said she was calling from Direct Buy and I'd been selected to win a vacation. She asked how that sounded. I said it sounded like she was breaking the law by calling someone who is registered with the do not call registry. I told her to never call again and put me on their do not call list. She asked why and I told her I wasn't going to argue, just don't call me again. I filed a complaint at donotcall.gov.
