So, if we give in, it's an admission of guilt or of owing the debt and then it starts the debt all over again.
Don't talk to them. Don't give them anything (information or money)
Block the phone # and report them ... in the meantime, don't answer and turn the ringer off as soon as they call so you don't have to listen to the phone ringing 20 times.
Twice this morning - got a call from 201-604-2899 - the guy whispers when he talks - you can hardly hear anything he says - he speaks HORRIBLE English - but I did understand him say he was calling from Belkin International. I asked to speak to a supervisor - he said that he wasn't there - I asked him to remove our name and number from his calling list - I have no idea what he said after that.
Received multiple calls from Girish at KPMG looking for W9 form. Dont recall what this is about and dont know whether I should pick up the calls again??
