Travel scam. "Emily" told me she was calling because I had stayed at one of their resorts and I'm entitled to a 75% discount off some "amazing" vacation (many details, I just let her run) and then asked if she could ask me some questions before transferring me to a travel consultant. I asked for the name of the company, but the connection broke up when she was speaking. She asked me again if she could ask me some questions, and I told her about the breakup and asked again for the name of the company. The call disconnected right after that.
SCAM - "we're calling you because you stayed at one of our resorts". NO, I did not. Nice try on the computer generated voice.... giggling, apologizes because "having trouble with my headset.". Then breaks into scam spiel for free vacation voucher. Only answered because I was waiting for a call from an appliance repair person.
Yes! Same as 'disgusted' - cute little giggle from 'Emily' about her headset not working and then the spiel about staying at their resort. I hung up when I realized she wasn't even pausing when I said 'Emily'. Never got to the part where she said what resort. But, hey, great feature on my new phone? Call blocking!
