I am glad I looked this up. I just received a call from this number stating I will receive a $7,000 government grant and will not ask for money from me. I didn't call this number and will throw the note away.
number is a scam. They ask for you to put $199 on a Greendot/Money pak card so you can register you r name with the government. Do not do this when you give them the info for the card they will take it.

I have been getting calls SEVERAL times a day saying I was selected to receive $7000 from US grant money. He gave me a "money ID" number and the number 201-616-0043, and also number315-625-1563, to get "My money" released. When I didn't call they call back wanting to know why I haven't called because they need to "release it right now!"
How do people fall for this is what I want to know? It screams SCAM as soon as the guy starts talking. You can hear phones ringing like crazy in the back ground. I want to call the number they gave me just to see what they say to ignorant people who fall for this scam. Crazy!!
