Man with accent wanted to impart information to a specific IT manager. I told him that wasn't permitted and sent him to Purchasing. Within the next 9 minutes, he phoned 15 times (might have tried more, but I was dealing with other callers,
so he had to wait in queue). Transferred him to Purchasing (3 more) and the fax line (3), then finally slammed down the receiver in his ear (9). What part of "No" didn't that numbskull understand?!
UPDATE -- This number appeared on Caller ID July 30. I was in multiple-line answer mode and mistakenly picked up the receiver. He said “Some b***h” and hung up. (Think he meant “son of a,” but his command of English is negligible.)
I reported him to Security. Today, he started phoning again for the IT manager or director, so I sent him to Purchasing again. Who needs this?
