I got a call from this number on tuesday during my lunch hour and nobody answered. I recieved calls from this number again on wednesday and thursday, but did not answer because I was in classes. This number called me again today 1/25 @ 4:53 and when I answered and said hello repeatedly, there was no reply. I would like to find you is calling because it's really starting to freak me out.
I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone. They never leave a message and like someone said previously, when you call it back it just rings. I checked reverse phone look up and found that it is in Hakensack, NJ somewhere off of Central Avenue. The phone provider is Allegiance Telecom, Inc as a land line. It is listed as Unpublished or Unvailable. This has to stop!!!
Since yesterday morning (Aug 25), I've received 24 calls from 201-621-5694 & ...5696. I accidently answered one call at 8:41 PM EST. Lots of backround noise. Call got dropped. I've googled the number and note that there is a lot of complaints on this number. If this keeps up I will take legal action.
This number now calls me only a few times a week. For awhile it called up to a hundred times or so per day. "Grants" were mentioned by some of you in the above notes, and that is at least one of the connections to this number. I responded to a spam email once on Government Grants, and the onslaught began. I researched this for awhile on the Internet, and one of the names that came up was that of an unscrupulous promoter who uses these techniques to get money from you by promising to find you a grant. It's another scam, I guess. I complained to the FCC (which we pay taxes for) and got a response saying they couldn't do anything about it. Oh, I love what a huge government does for us! We would drown in money if they weren't taking it out of our pockets. Drowning is so unpleasant. Be thankful for big government.
They have been calling me for months now, 20-30 times a day. They'll call and then hang up and call right back starting about 6am until 10:30 (that's been the earliest and latest they have called). I just want to find out who it is and get them to stop!
