i AGREE "Looks like a possible spam caller. It was woman with a thick Indian accent. When I answered the phone, you could hear the call center loud and clear behind her. The employee she asked for wasn't here so I asked if she wanted to leave a message. She didn't. Use caution."
Woman asking for an employee no longer with the company. Instead of telling her this, I grilled her as to who she was, where she was from & as to why she was calling. She says she is from IBM and wants to share a document. I told her no thank you and hung up. She called back and hung up before I could answer. Then called back again asking to speak to him (unfortunately the person she was naming was a her). I repeated no thank you to her, she asked why and I told her we are not interested. She says she wants to talk with him so I told her she isn't even aware if the person she's calling is a man or woman, then she hung up.
Cold calling companies to "send them documents" is never going to work, not in this day and age of Cyber attacks and Viruses. Psfffffff.
