Got a call from 201-630-8137 on October 27, 2015 at 7:20 PM. Call came into my cell phone and caller ID said it was from "Jersey City, NJ". I don't know anyone or anything in Jersey City. I did not answer the call and they did not leave a message. From other messages in this thread this call sounds like its a scam of some sort.
Call blocker works very well, indeed. As it did this evening a few minutes before they could no longer call. I noticed so many folks above who have actually answered the calls to tell the cow loving scumbags to drop dead but your answering only affirms your number is a live number and they can then sell it to other scammers for as little as $5. Even pressing 2 to opt out confirms there is a human on the line and your calls will increase. Don't answer. Screen your calls. Block you calls. Contact the Consumer Union (Consumer Reports) site www.EndRobocalls.org and sign their petition to pressure the phone companies and lobby the government. It won’t cost you a cent! I could only wish I had a drone missile that could home in on these scammers, but we're not remitted such things.
