Some kind of Woman's organization for cancer donations, called very early in the morning (before 8:30am) and woke me up. I answered thinking it was my doctor or some lady went right into her spiel until I told her about the early hour and hung up.
Do not give to organization that cold calls you like that - they are a rip off - let alone only giving very little $$ to the cause they are collecting for. Find a local charity to give to if you have too much money. By giving local you can see your donation in action. (This is just my opinion and does not reflect the view(s) of 800Notes)
Someone .From women cancer,called me asking for donation being a cancer
survivor as i listened to her ,then something clicked, i acted as if i could not
hear her and hung.Up my phone kept ringing from that same number 201-630-8144
then i begun to surpect that this was a scam. The following day i answered
the call. I asked for the address of this business, she said it was in harrisburg
i asked again for the address,she said she did'nt know it. I told not to call
my number again, and hung up.
