Called everyday for the past 2 weeks three or four times a day. I finally picked up and the fast talker was asking for money to help keep kids from being abducted. BIG scam. Very annoying!
You can pick up and scream "We are not interested! Take our name off your list immediately. Do not call here!" and they will call back the following day. What good is the Blocked Calls Listing and the US Government Do-Not-Call listing if they don't work?
Non-profit organizations are not covered by the DNCR. This is not to say these calls are by legitimate organizations. In fact criminals are not going to honor the law.
